I've got the same error... isn't there a way to obtain this
file... I guess the development team does have it... and it's a
nice feature, if it would work.

BTW, checked CVS, could not find the file even there... so
where is this mysterious file needed to make one of those
interesting features of tiki working ????

The error occurs in the following sequence of actions :
    1. Operator of the LiveSupport goes online
    2. User gets page with the LiveSupport icon, it's enabled
    3. Operator of the LS goes offline
    4. User sends LS message (which is possible since the LS icon
    is still enabled).

    This file:

is still missing for 1.7.4 and 1.8. I suspect we'll have to
create a new one. As I understand it, this file merely
tells the user that there is a problem. Very similar to the
    error template.

BTW: This bug had been closed as out of date. Closing
unresolved bugs is destroying extremly valuable information
essential to the improvment process. Please dont close them
unless you are certain the problem has been fully addressed.

    Hi Chris
That was me that closed the bug as out of date. There's no
rule on closing the old bugs but I've been closing them out
when the bug is connected to a v. of tiki that is three
points down. It was opened in 1.7... the bug wasn't fixed or
any new messages for three months... and three new versions
of tiki have come out since...

The bug effectively has been reconfirmed, new eyeballs are
looking at it and in the mass closing of the bugs we've had
at 7 other bugs confirmed closed by users with 'hit and run'
reports. It's not a great system, I know. Leave 'em alone
and the bugs disappear and are forgotten, close 'em
incorrectly and the owner comes back to confirm it still
exists and gets new attention? Which is better?

You are right of course. This predicament of OpenSource
development and I guess your methodology proves as good as
any in the circumstances. However, it doesnt account for
people who leave the project and dont care whether the bug
    is closed or not.

How about placing them in the Pending::Out of date state
instead of Closed::out of date. This would indicate that the
issue hasnt been verified and that it requires further

live support seems to be completely broken. If nobody fixes
it, it will be broken in 1.8 final.

The bug you reported may have been fixed. Additionally, if you
are using an older form of Tiki it is highly recommended you
update as new security measures are in place.

Please get the latest version 1.8.3. The changelog is enormous
and may cover your particular bug:
You can download the latest Tiki from here
    or from CVS
    and retest the issue.

If the problem persists then please add a comment with more
details to the same bug item.

If the problem is gone then please close the bug. We appreciate
    your help!

All the best from the Tiki Team!
