    I don't have that problem.
    grep -r "function xmlrpc_decode" .
    only give one result.
    maybe you have something in your path ?

    The bug has NOT been fixed: or it has reappeared. Clicking
    "send article" under Tikiwiki 1.8.3 produces exactly the
    same fatal error.

    phpxmlrpc 1.0.99.2 fixes that by detecting whether the PHP
    XML-RPC extension is installed or not. This happens when you
    have XML-RPC installed.
    http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpxmlrpc/
    However I'm not willing to upgrade that library and check
    that it doesn'tl break other stuff.

    Sorry, I don't understand howto fix that. I'm also getting
    this error in 1.8.5...
    Is there any manual fix, even if nobody wants to upgrade the
    official code for 1.8.x?
    Thanks for your work and time improving tiki :-),
    Xavier

    I've commented it (xmlrpc_decode). Then the error is shown
    for the function xmlrpc_encode, and I commented it out, also.

    Then I can go to the webpage "url/tiki-send_objects.php",
    but after selecting a wikipage, and sending to another tiki
    with proper url, path, username and password, I get the error:
    =======================
    Warning: fsockopen(): php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo
    failed: Name or service not known in
    /var/lib/gforge/chroot/home/groups/uniwiki/htdocs/lib/xmlrpc.inc
    on line 413

    Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to

    /var/lib/gforge/chroot/home/groups/uniwiki/htdocs/lib/xmlrpc.inc
    on line 413
    =======================

    Any more ideas?

    Hello,
    This is a broadcast message for all open bugs left before 2004/01/05.
    We hope it was checked but no bug update took place.
    The bug you reported may have been fixed.
    Additionally, if you are using an older form of TikiWiki,
    it is highly recommended you update at least to 1.8.5
    with new security fixes.

    So we open a procedure over the 2 next weeks:
    Please, check your bug or request.
    If you feel it's not relevant anymore, then close it.
    But, if you mind it's still current,
    we invite you to open a new fresh request.

    At the end of this period,
    an automatic cleaning with notifications will take place.

    Tikily yours,

    This has been fixed by jmjuzan in BRANCH-1-9. Upgrading to
    1.9.0 should fix it.
