#122 problem between TiK and Trillian

While talking *nix and programming with a friend, I
found a very interesting bug. I was on TiK version
.90, he was on Trillian version .74. Sending "<"
followed by some text, without a closing angle bracket,
will crash Trillian. After some testing, I've
ascertained that this bug only occurs between TiK and
Trillian. It occurs with both versions .90 and .87 of TiK.
