I think the PHP tickets program is designed very well.
It is very simple and I like the interface layout.

The software would reach a new level of usability very
easily by incorporating an address book or storing
information on customer accounts. You might even want
to consider interfacing with various existing PHP/MySQL
address books.

The main change would be with the "Affected" text
field. Rather than having an open field, you could have
that field linked to the address book table and pull up
names as you type. For example, if you typed "A" then
it would pull up the name "Adams", which is at the top
of the "A" list of names in the table.

Then, links to jump back and forth between PHP Tickets
and the address book interface would be needed. I would
be content if they were run as separate programs, but
the "Affected" field linked to the MySQL table of the
address book.
They wouldn't have to be completely integrated for me.

Just my 2 cents.

Also, I've shown our installation of the PHP tickets
system to a handful of guys working for partner
companies. They said they would use the system as well
IF it had some sort of account or address storage ability.
