Presenting Textpad's official website!

I know HTML and CSS, but I don't want to build a website from scratch ever again (I had to build some for my IT class, and I hope not to write another one again). Well, leaving that apart, I decided to build the website with Weebly, it's way faster and I don't need to install Windows in order to test the website under IE.

  • Some improvements in the interface shown in Microsoft Windows.

Textpad 0.8 will be released next week.

Textpad 0.8 will be released during the next week, many of you may have asked why this release (0.8) took so long to be released, if so, head on and continue reading...

Why did it took so long?

  • There where a lot of changes in the base of the source code, so I had to adapt the software to these changes.

  • The preferences engine in Textpad was completely reworked, due to the implementation of a SDI interface.
  • I added some export options (HTML and PDF).
  • The structure of the source code was redesigned (again).
  • The code was tested for stability and performance, so this release should be also the most stable and fast release of Textpad.
  • Many, many of other minor changes.... read more
