Threestore is still in use, but development is not longer active.
I designed a successor, JXT, but that's not generally available
unfortunately. It may become GPL at some point in the future, but I
wouldn't hold your breath.
.17 and .18 differ in a few bugfixes I think. There should be a
ChangeLog in the tarball, but that's not much use if you can't find
I no longer work for the University of Southampton, so I'm not sure
what happened to that machine.
