Opps...my bad...when I said 3DML I actually ment X3D based on the Web3D group. 3DML is actually a format created by Flatland Online that allowed you to create 3D worlds using markup tags. See http://www.flatland.com/download for a viewer called Rover (Windows or Mac). See http://www.flatland.com/build/tutorial/index.html for a tutorial on 3DML See http://www.flatland.com/build/ for Builder info and resources VRML has scripting functionality built into the markup language allowing for a little more power then a plain XML markup language. The Web3D consortium is migrating the features of VRML into an XML application named X3D (eXtensible 3D). See http://www.web3d.org/TaskGroups/x3d/faq/index.html for the FAQ on X3D See http://www.vrml.org for VRML/X3D info See http://sdk.web3d.org/resources/index.html for X3D resource Sorry for the mistakes Eric |
