I read another post about a problem very similar to this. I recently did a fresh install of Ubuntu and it was 10.10. And then reinstalled all my standard programs. But when I tried using Thoggen it gave me this blue image ( see screen shot included ) where the Live progress image of the movies is normally shown and there is never any actual progress. It used to work great so I know its not a hardware issue.I have attached the log file that was taken during the time the blue screen was showing. So it should be as accurate as I can get.
Side note. I have noticed that any DVD that is ripped doesn't seem to have the same quality of when the said DVD is played in a stand alone DVD player. Why is this?

I didn't realize that only the screen shot was attached. If a developer reads this please comment with a secure means of communication so that I may send the log file to them.
