could be a kernel problem, I'd check releases of newer 2.4.x kernels and see
if any change log entries correspond.

Feedback on the current status of 2.1.1
After lots of testing I can say its generally working fine. I've tested
approx 20 machines over the last week.
I can only find one bug and I think it has been mentioned by another user on
the general list under the title of "someone around who knows how to throw
keyboards around the office?"
The e1000 module (Intel 1000Mbit Network Card) will only work and get a DHCP
address from a 10/100Mbit connection, a gigabit connection seems to work but
fails to get an IP Address after an "e1000 watchdog message"
I can fix and reproduce the error by using a 100Mbit Hub between the machine
and the network point on the wall.
Can anybody suggest a fix I can test, I don't mind hacking code if somebody
has a suggestion to try.
