Yes it did the trick. Actually many things working as expected now. Like menus, desktop pic etc. Are you sure that TS needs systemd ? It mostly sucks :( We are also loosing simplicity with all these new config stuff, daemons etc. Thanks for this project again anyway. Date: Thu, 27 Jun 2013 10:18:24 -0700 From: doncuppjr@... Try removing the link to restore 5.1 init From: John Friend <cepb13@...> To: "doncuppjr@..." <doncuppjr@...>; "thinstation-general@..." <thinstation-general@...> Sent: Thursday, June 27, 2013 10:08 AM Subject: RE: [Thinstation-general] setting non-English keyboard (thinstation 6.0) I did not touch anything other than build.conf. On running image, /init symlinked to /lib/ystemd/systemd Its also not possible to set locale via xfwm4 keyboard config as there is only English option. But correct locale files seems stored in the image as I can use loadkeys at console and probably I can set X keyboard via config files too. Date: Thu, 27 Jun 2013 09:56:09 -0700 From: doncuppjr@... From: John Friend <cepb13@...> To: "thinstation-general@..." <thinstation-general@...> Sent: Thursday, June 27, 2013 9:10 AM Subject: [Thinstation-general] setting non-English keyboard (thinstation 6.0) Do I need to setup something other than changing language package in build.conf to set keyboard in 6.0 branch ? In 5.1 branch, I can set keyboard to another locale (in both X and text login) simply by commenting "locale-en_US keyboard" package out and uncommenting another one. But in 6.0 branch, its always English although I can see that new locale package processed by build command. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Thinstation-general mailing list Thinstation-general@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/thinstation-general ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This SF.net email is sponsored by Windows: Build for Windows Store. http://p.sf.net/sfu/windows-dev2dev _______________________________________________ Thinstation-general mailing list Thinstation-general@... https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/thinstation-general |

Hello, i have just finished testing the vmware view 5.2 (2.0) Horizon Client on TS5.1 with PCOIP and USB Support.. Someone interested in testing ? The 2.0 Client has alls things integrated in the debian package, just the start script does the magic. It needs 2 Services started in the Background. i think. i had a usb flash drive mounted into the vdi and it was working. But it needs for sure more tests. Bye Roman |
