My server is just a Core2 Duo 1,8 GHz in a desktop style box. 1 GB RAM and a 120 GB SATA disk (which is waaaay overkill - I use ~30%). The real bottle neck is bandwith and here there is only the American way: more is better. I think you'll be fine with your setup. Really the most important feature is you: you need to check up on the system regulary (a quick look daily) and keep an eye on everything and keep stuff updated. It normally takes very little time, but it's important to be alert.
