Last i heard there wasn't a solution. I'm in the same boat. Something is preventing Rdesktop from working properly in this exact instance. For my example i use a config directive almost exact to yours. I have gotten it to work partially. What would happen is When Rdesktop did forward the printer a driver was chosen as hp8500ps. Why it would choose this drive i don't know. If i try the same directive for rdesktop from my Gentoo, Mandrake, Centos boxes it works just fine. ( however i do understand there are ALOT of difference between a full distro and Thinstation). When it did work i didn't specify a driver and the 8500 driver auto select was the defaulted choice. When i do specify the driver in the config line Rdesktop either fails to start or crashes when printing. Currently this is my biggest pet peeve with Thinstation. However Rather jus= t sitting and and ranting I would be glad to work with anyone to test and fin= d a solution to this issue.
