Well, in my original 2.0 configuration I couldn't get domain names to resolve correctly, so I've been using IP with no problems. I can make the initial telnet connection to the client and it accepts the username (root) but I keep getting rejected on the password. Not a deal breaker because I don't necessarily need to jump in and make any changes, but it would be nice to get in there if I needed to. The only difference I see, is that I grant access based on ip-numbers, not domain names (slightly hard to get resolvance on 192.168.1.0 :-). Any chance you could try with ip-numbers? =20 Mike > -----Original Message----- > From: thi...@li... > [mailto:thi...@li...] On Behalf Of=20 > Frank Martens > Sent: Thursday, December 02, 2004 8:20 AM > To: thi...@li... > Subject: [Thinstation-general] Telnet >=20 > I have set up a thinstation. >=20 > I want to connect to the thinstation using telnet.
