No

In some cases, it would be nice to have an option for having a news submission immediately posted with no interaction from any author.

In my case, I am looking at ThatPHPware to be a tool for change control procedures. In other words, as soon as a change has been made to a group of systems, it would be submitted and then immediately viewable from the news page.

Of course this would be controlled from the config.php3 page. In fact I would prefer a variable that can be set to an array of users that have the immediate posting capability or the magic word "all".

I've wanted to do that. I was just going to sneak it in while working on user stuff since I can just copy and paste a lot of the code that posts comments for articles right to submit.php3. It should just be one night worth of work I'm betting. This would work in tandem with my user changes so that specific levels of users could just post news from submit.php3 directly instead of having to go through admin.php3.

I have some preliminary implementation of this on CVS now. It doesn't have any cool interaction with users but it will give you 3 different options as admin to post all automatically, just post from users and review for anon, or review all by admin no matter what.
