Personally I expected limited use of it. Given the existing codebase, it should not be difficult to implement. I don't have a timeline for it, but I can step it up since someo= ne has asked for it.=20 > I want to be able to tftp configuration files form my Cisco routers and > catalog them, but it seems that part is not written yet. >=20 > I also want to use it to receive the DHCP bindings file, and use it to k= eep > a better database of the mac and IP addresses. >=20 > I also had to make a change to TFTPServer.py so that it would compile. do= se > it compile for anyone else as released? It certainly does. What version of Python are you using, and what change did you have to make? There is a bug tracking system for the project.=20 Mike --=20 Michael P. I was wonder if there are any plans to make the server class receive files from a client. I want to be able to tftp configuration files form my Cisco routers and catalog them, but it seems that part is not written yet. I also want to use it to receive the DHCP bindings file, and use it to keep a better database of the mac and IP addresses. I also had to make a change to TFTPServer.py so that it would compile. dose it compile for anyone else as released? Hal |
