Key combinations including the ctrl button (ctrl-a,ctrl-c,ctrl-v) are not recognized at all by TextTrix when i am using it on Ubuntu Linux.
First i thought that it maybe was an operating system problem so i tried to use those key combinations on the Ubuntu Linux text editor but there everything worked properly.
Thanks for testing on Ubuntu and pointing this out. Which version/window-manager are you using? The key combos work for me on Ubuntu 12.04, although I mostly use it in "hybrid" shortcuts mode (in the preferences). Which shortcut preferences setting are you seeing this?
I am using 12.04 and Gnome.
I don't get exactly what you mean about the preferences but it's all set to default.
I've been trying to test this on Ubuntu 10.04 and 12.04 and have been seeing ctrl combinations work at least from my tests. If you go to Edit > It's your preference > Shorts and change it to Hybrid, do any of the ctrl shortcuts work for you?
i will test it in a few days, because now i am away from my desktop, and i will tell you what happens
I just set the shortcuts to Hybrid and the ctrl combinations are still not working.
Plus, since I just installed ubuntu in my laptop, I tested it there too and same thing happens.
I was just thinking, could this be related to different language keyboards? Ctrl combos have been working for me on Windows/Mac/Linux, but I've only tried on English keyboard layouts and OSes.
Ctrl-S doesn't work when I'm testing on Ubuntu 15.04 with LXDE. There do seem to be sporadic shortcut hiccups that we'll try to track down.
