I would prefer it if double-clicking the PDF preview would switch to the source code location rather than magnify. I need to do the former much more often than the latter. Similarly, I would appreciate if double-clicking the source code would jump to the corresponding PDF preview location. It would be just as good to have a hotkey like CTRL+Click perform these two operations such that they can be performed without opening a menu each time.

Ctrl+Click is already implemented and works in both directions.

I don't like ctrl+click, I prefer double click (I use sumatrapdf, so I need the editor side to use the same hotkey). Can the ticket be reopened please?

Reopened upon user request. However, please note that customizing mouse events is more complicated than shortcuts and it's not a high priority right now. So it's unlikely that this will be implemented any time soon unless there's significant user demand (you can vote for feature requests).

When this gets implemented, please add an advanced config option to let the user choose the behaviour.

Double-click in editor will always create a text selection. This is the overall standard in all editors.

Double-click in viewer: Would be possible as an advanced option. But still no high priority and no forecast if / when it will be implemented.
