#262 80 char line (follow-up of item #3288173)

Some time ago, I requested an 80 char line feature (see https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=3288173&group_id=250595&atid=1126427). The corresponding request has been closed with the note that this is now implemented. I believe Jan Sundermeyer is referring to the new "Soft Wrap at X chars" option. Unfortunately, this is not exactly the feature I was asking for. I would like to have an option that only displays a line at 80 chars, but neither does soft nor hard wrapping (but only wraps at the window edge). The reason is that in many projects we loosely enforce a "80 char per line" limit, but a few chars more is also fine. For this reason, I need a line at 80 chars, but if someone goes over 2 chars, I do not want the text to soft wrap there.
