add an option: under tools > generate glosseries

it should be rather simple: just execute the command: makeglossaries projectname
on the current project

you need to check if perl is installed though, and give an error when its not
should be easy when checking if the path variable contains a perl entry?

you could also define "makeglosseries" in the user commands User/User Commands yourself

Indeed, we could make use of User/User Commands. But I totally agree with Bert: a "usual" makeglossaries command could be nice since, IMHO, glossaries at least as frequently used as, for instance, indexes.

I permit myself to up this feature request: I gave yesterday a LaTeX course on glossaries package and, for newbies (for intermediate users as well), ``define "makegloss[a]ries" in the user commands User/User Commands [themselves]'' was really a pain.

Ok. Added (hg 4450 (68ac849b783b)). There's now an entry Tools -> Commands -> Makeglossaries. Also, I've added an abstract Tools -> Glossary command which defaults to the above command.

OK, thanks. Nevertheless I cannot try because:

      ╭────
      │ $ hg pull -u

│ added 1 changesets with 3 changes to 3 files

│ not updating: crosses branches (merge branches or use --clean to discard changes)

Sorry for the noise: after a fresh cloning, I could try.

        Some minor troubles:

        1. The string to translate has a typo: "Makegloassaries" instead of "Makeglossaries".
        2. In Options → Configure TXS → Commands, there are two entries dedicated to glossaries: "Makeglossary" and "Makeglossaries".
        3. In Options → Configure TXS → Build, maybe should be made homogeneous:
          1. "Default Bibliography"
          2. "Default Index Tool"
          3. "Default Glossary Tool"
        4. In Tools, both "Index" and "Glossary" has F12 shortcut.

    Thanks.

What about the F9 shortcut for Tools → Glossary? AFAICS, it is not currently used.
