In Texmaker, \frac autocompletes to \frac{•}{•}, with the first • already selected. Pressing Tab will select the second •. This feature makes using any command with multiple arguments much easier to use.

have you tried ctrl+right/left ?
Can be set in the shortcuts (for editor part)
