Hi!
I would like to open and close culry braces by hitting
Alt + the keys where (on the Italian keyboard) I have [ and ]
In order to get character [ I have to hit Ctrl + Alt + the key where there are the three symbols:
è é [
and in order to get ] I have to hit Ctrl + Alt + the key where there are the three symbols:
+*]
I can easily define macros wich will print { and } but I do not understand how I can assign the shortcuts I want to those macros...
Where should I learn about that?

You can either set shortcuts (option/shortcuts) for macros or you can set macros to replace special typed characters (see manual).
