txs offers the option in option/build options where you can set the viewer as windowedWhite Owl firstname.lastname@example.org hat geschrieben:I prefer to see my document in a separate window (I have two displays). But I cannot convince TXS to remember this. I press F1 - document compiled and shown in the subwindow of TXS, I click on the "Windowed Viewer" button - document floats to my secondary display. Now, if I accidentally hit ESC - the windowed viewer closes and next time I hit F1 the document is shown in the subwindow again.
It is very annoying and I cannot find how to prevent it.
I have TXS 2.5.2 on Debian and Windows - behavior is the same.
