I added some words via "Add to dictionary".
Now I would like to edit a word in this dictionary, but I cant find a file containing the list of my words.
Where do I find it?
Greetings

That's not completely true. The file is next to the dictionary file (whereever that is). For Linux, OSX and user-installed Win dictionaries that's in the settings dir. However, dictionaries provided with the installer on windows are located in the installation directory for historic reasons (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\TeXstudio\dictionaries). As a normal user, you don't have write permissions to that directory and windows implicitly redirects the writing of an ignore file to %LOCALAPPDATA%\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\TeXstudio\dictionaries. You will find the file named like the dictionary, but with extension .ign; e.g. en_US.ign.
Note: Future versions will always use [settings-dir]\dictionaries.

It is in the directory, where the settings are stored:

Windows 11: I went to directory
%APPDATA%\texstudio\
I found there
texstudioen_US.ign
which is my custon dictionary, and
texstudio.ini
(I tend to backup those 2 files & completion\user*.cwl, which are my own .cwl files, when I migrate to a new PC.)
