Block cursor with keyboard

    is there any way to use block cursor with keyboard to manipulate a table? Thanks

    Use Ctrl+Alt+Up/Down to stretch the cursor across multiple rows. Then you can move/select simultaneously like you would with a single cursor.

    I have just found that Ctrl+Alt+Up/Down cannot be used in Windows.

    Why not? Works here (Win7). However I just recently learned that Intel graphics utility catches Ctrl+Alt+Left/Right. Maybe it's something similar in your case. There are just too few keys on a keyboard ;)
    Anyway, you can redefine the shortcuts in the editor basic key mapping: Create cursor mirror up/down.
