    Hi,

I was searching for the file in which the "bad words" are stored.
Can't seem to find it in the /.config directory. Or is there even a way
to edit the bad word list from inside TXS?

    Hi Pat,

they are in the dictionary directory (likely /usr/local/share/texstudio, if not have a look what directory is used in the options dialog).

Ah, found it, thanks very much. Am I correctly assuming that there is no file with English "bad words"? In case you are interested, here are a couple of bad words I gathered from the Internet:

Weasel words: quite, various, fairly, a number of
Judgement words: interestingly, surprisingly, remarkably, or clearly
    Bad, bad word: very, extremely

You're right, there is no English bad words file. Personally I find it depends on the context if these words are bad. So I won't go forward trying to create a universal bad words file myself.
