I want set External viewer in Texstudio to Acrobat viewer , not my default pdf viewer Pdf Xchange. Can I do that?

I think you need to do 2 things:

Options --> Configure Texstudio --> Build --> txs:///view-pdf-external

Options --> Configure Texstudio --> Commands --> External PDF Viewer --> "C:\Program Files (x86)\PDFlite\pdflite.exe" "?am.pdf"

adapt the second path to the path of your external viewer.

    For the record: I recently got Mac OSX. It works just the same:
    
    "/Applications/Adobe Reader.app" "?am.pdf"

What about the forward search option?
How is it used with pdfxchange?
