I am currently on Xubuntu 12.10 with the latest TeXstudio 2.5 (SVN 3376).
there is a temp. workaround but I don't know where I have to place my .tex templates.
Already tried in /home/username/.config/texstudio/templates/user as in the manual described but no success.
There is also something said about a new SVN build but unfortunately not for Linux.
Is there any other workaround for Linux?
The config dir is used for the user templates (which has been broken). The builtin templates are stored in /usr/share/texstudio. You could use this path.
Building on Linux is very easy, you can do it yourself if you want to:
We only provide Win snapshots, because setting up a the build environment on windows takes significantly more effort.
Thanks for your answer. But I also already tried to put my "template_Test.tex" in /usr/share/texstudio, without any luck.
Latest SVN for Linux is 3382, but it's not fixed yet, right?
Because it says: "Fixed in rev. 3400."
There will soon be an official bugfix release.
