When I edit a document, very often, and very annoyingly, a sort of preview of
some lines of my doc appears; pix related
There does not seem to be a setting to disable this stuff in the preview tab
in the options...
You seem to have CSS turned off.
Please don't fill out this field.
Likely this is the auto-preview.
Try setting Options ->Preview -> Segment Preview -> Auto Preview to "Never"
nope it still does it !
First, please update to the most recent version of TXS.
If the problem still exists: Does it happen while you type or while you move the mouse?
I hope this is the same problem which is bothering me.
When the mouse cursor hovers over the file in a \includegraphic command, a picture pop up will be show (see here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8bjaowsah5lzigd/texstudio.png). I do not see an option to disable this feature.
If the picture is big enough and the \includegraphic command is in the right place, e.g. in the middle of screen, the pop up will appear under the cursor. This is very problematic because the picture pop up will disappear nearly immediately and reappear again. Unfortunately, this blinking pop up is very annoying.
reported here: https://sourceforge.net/p/texstudio/bugs/674/
and fixed in rev. 3682
