I noticed that Texmaker 2.0 was recently released and has a built-in PDF
    viewer.

If there will be a TexMakerX 2.0 based on Texmaker 2.0, this would be a very
nice feature, but for me it is only useful if both forward and inverse
searching are fully implemented. Otherwise, I would bypass the built-in viewer
and instead use SumatraPDF which can be configured with TexMakerX to have both
    forward and inverse search capability.

    Thanks, I didn't noticed it.

Perhaps I will copy it. However such a pdf preview has the big problem, that
it is just to slow, not faster than the a usual viewer, since the pdf is fully
created. (tmx has a similar problem with its png preview, it is a little bit
    faster, but still to slow)
Also the preview of Texmaker seems to use a pdf viewer of qt4.6 which didn't
exist in older versions, but tmx still support qt4.3.

Texmaker uses poppler to show pdf.
The solution should be as fast as it gets.
However at the moment it seems not to support inverse/forward search.
Furthermore how to fulfill dependencies on win and mac is a little
    complicated...
