    I am using a freshly installed TeXstudio 2.10.8 on Ubuntu.

    When I cite something and type \cite{authoryear} then I end up with

    \cite{bibid}}

    The problem is that TeXstudio opens a suggestion list that only contains \cite{bibid} and as soon as I enter the closing brace, this item is selected and the closing brace is put behind it.

    I found out that I can turn off autocompletion on non-word characters (I don't understand why this is an advanced option. These kind of problems are a major annoyance to me when I use plain TeXstudio))
    But it would also be great if TeXstudio understood without changing that option that there is no way I want \cite{bibid} in my text after already having typed\cite{a or even \cite{authoryear
