Choosing Configure TexStudio -> Adv. Editor -> Line Wrapping -> Hard Line Wrap after max. Characters causes a very useful vertical guideline to be displayed at the column (max. characters) you picked, e.g. the de facto programming standard of 80 characters.

However, if the font is equal to size 11 (instead of 9, 10, or 12), the guideline is placed at the wrong spot!

Example to reproduce:
Change settings to
Editor -> Font Family -> Inconsolata
Editor -> Font Size -> 11
Adv. Editor -> Line Wrapping -> Hard Line Wrap after max. Characters
Adv. Editor -> Maximal Characters -> 80

This causes the guideline to be incorrectly displayed at 91 characters wide. But if you change the font size to 9, 10, or 12, the guideline will be placed at the correct column (character no.) 80!

    I cannot reproduce this.

    1. Please post a screenshot to illustrate the issue.
    2. Which version of TXS are you using? Which OS?
    3. Does it also happen with other monospaced fonts (maybe at other font-sizes)?
