When configuring "General", the link http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Dictionaries is offered for "Download Additional Dictionaries".

The linked page states: "IMPORTANT NOTE: This page is obsolete ... If you need to access the (outdated) list of dictionaries, please use the history of this page."

Should we go to extensions repository http://extensions.openoffice.org/, pick our language there, unzip the .oxt file and then use .dic and .aff of that?

Yes, you can do this or use the ones from the history of the page as proposed. I plan to directly support .oxt files as dictionaries, but there hasn't be been time to implement this so far.

hg 4216 (c842e48b6b52) introduces import of .oxt files and updates the link.
