The icons in TeXstudio on a Retina on a macOS screen are of poor resolution. While the size of the icons can be adjusted with GUI scaling, after scaling the icons look blurry, and should be replaced with higher resolution figures.
you could change the color scheme to "modern", Unfortunately qt does not make use of vector symbols without tweaking and we only tweaked the "modern" set-up.
