sing v2.10.2 final (hg 5508) under Windows. This one is annoying: if I type the last l in colortbl when I have written \usepackage{xcolor,colortb}then texstudio replaces it with \usepackage{xcolor,colo\begin{tabular}{@{}@{}} \end{tabular}} ... I had to copy paste the l so that it doesn't autocomplete.

    I cannot reproduce it here.

    • What was the previous version you were using in which the behavior was not present?
    • Does the replacement happen as well, if you type colortbl in the following cases: a) normal text or b) as a single argument to \usepackage{colortbl} or c) as a single argument to \textbf{colortbl}?

Have you defined a macro which is triggered by a trigger text ?

I do, and its trigger is .tbl ... I didn't realize that it's regex (was that always the case?)

Yes. The trigger has always been a regexp.

I am not aware that the behaviour has been changed.
Alternativel you can use "abbrevations" like \tbl which apear in the completer as \tbl (Usertag).
