I was wondering if we can cleanup the following files before the
release. Or right after the release, it's not that important :-).
Please review them when you have some time (doesn't have to be
today). We then should decide what we do with each (keep it as is,
move/rename it, delete it, modify it in some way...):
-> is this still needed?
-> Is this still needed? Can we remove it (remember -- in Subversion,
nothing is ever really "lost". In particular, TeXShop 2.03 is
completely archived here: <http://svn.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/
-> What is this?
-> This seems like an extended version of Credits.rtf. Is it up-to-
date? Maybe rename it to "FullCredits.rtf" or so? And how does it
compare to <http://www.uoregon.edu/~koch/texshop/extras.html> ?
-> can this be removed?
* Docs/VersionHistory.rtf vs. Docs/XFixes_Old vs Docs/Author_Loc/
-> this confuses me a bit. All these files seem to contain parts of
the version history of TeXShop, but rather mixed (and note that there
are three XFixes12 files). We could merge them all into a single
file; or maybe two (one for 1.x, one for 2.x); or make one file for
each release. But the current situation is confusing, I think.
-> this looks like an abandoned attempt to setup docs generated from
source. I propose we remove this, and start from scratch, if we want
to. As an example, this is what I setup for ScummVM (which is a tad
bigger than TeXShop *g*): <http://www.scummvm.org/docs/doxygen/html/
-> useful? should we add a README that explain it? Remove it? Extend
it? Maybe add additional examples?
