This is the follow-up bugreport of #3551960 which was closed without the possibility to re-open it:
https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=479426&aid=3551960&group_id=36323
Therefore I had to create this new entry.

The problem is still present on the current release 2.0 beat 1 (tested on 64bit):

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. Load a tex file that contains multiple chapters, sections, subsections... into TeXnicCenter
2. Create a project using that tex and save it.
3. Open the tex file using an external editor and insert 10 blank new lines before \begin{document}
4. Switch back to TeXnicCenter - select yes on the dialog which asks if the file should be reloaded
5. Click on any chapter or section entry in the navigation panel which outline of the document

Expected result: The cursor in the text edit window jumps to the line where the selected chapter/section/subsection is defined in the LaTeX code
Actual result: The cursor jumps to a position which is 10 lines too high compared to the expected result.

Tested and verified to be defect using TeXnicCenter 2.0 beta 1 64bit on Windows 7 64bit Enterprise.
