The one feature from Emacs that I miss in TexnikCenter is the "close current environment" command. Basically, it looks for the most-recent \begin{foo} command that hasn't been closed, and then inserts the corresponding \end{foo} command.

See http://tex.stackexchange.com/q/20846/68 for the Tex StackExchange post that prompted this feature request.

The feature is already listed in the official feature list.

    Thank you for your report.

Where is the official feature list and how do I use the feature (or where can I read about how to use it?)

      Thanks very much,
      Charlie

    Hi,

this feature is not listed in the feature list. The application containts an auto-complete: "start typing the environment, and if it is known, we set it up". What OP (and many others) are looking for is "I open the environment myself, and if I hit the shortkey, you will just close it.

    Cheers
