No

When i use sidecaptions from the sidecap package the figure is not recognized and put into Other Environments. Same when using minipages for two figures side by side with separate captions.

Used code:
\usepackage{sidecap}
...

\begin{SCfigure}
\centering
\includegraphics{image}
\caption{caption}
\label{fig:image}
\end{SCfigure}

or

\begin{figure}
\begin{minipage}{0.45\textwidth}
\centering
\includegraphics{image1}
\caption{caption1}
\label{fig:image1}
\end{minipage}
\hfill
\begin{minipage}{0.45\textwidth}
\centering
\includegraphics{image2}
\caption{caption2}
\label{fig:image2}
\end{minipage}
\end{figure}

It would be nice if TXC would recognize even this not standard figures.

Thanks for your great work
Christian

    Using memoir TxC correctly recognize subfigures like:
    begin{figure}[htb]
    \centering
    \subbottom[Il mondo visto da noi.]{
    \includegraphics[width=0.30\textwidth]{world1a.png}
    \label{fig:world1}
    }
    \subbottom[Avvicinandosi.]{
    \includegraphics[width=0.30\textwidth]{world2a.png}
    \label{fig:world2}
    }
    \subbottom[Visto dal computer.]{
    \includegraphics[width=0.30\textwidth]{world3a.png}
    \label{fig:world3}
    }
    \caption{Visualizzazione di una mappa della Terra come la potremmo vedere noi \subcaptionref{fig:world1}. Avvicinandosi \subcaptionref{fig:world2} vediamo che il calcolatore la considera invece formata da punti discreti \subcaptionref{fig:world3}.}
    \label{fig:world}
    \end{figure}

    Hope it helps
    mario
