#321 Splitting the window of the same document in two sections

It seems not possible to split the active window in two sections in the same window area. It can often be very useful editing one part of the document, while seeing another one of the same document. In TexnicCenter v1.0 all this was possible. Specifically, there was kind of a cursor, in the upper part of the active window, on the right. Dragging it down would allow the window separation in two sections. This funcionality disappeared in 2.0. Why? Furthermore, the menu option:

Window => Split

is always shadowed. Can You restore this useful funtionality also for TexnicCenter v2.0?
Thanks a lot

    I know! I was just working on it. Unfortunately, that functionality is somewhat gone. Honestly, it was also always buggy.

    I will remove the menu items.

    You can have two documents side-by-side. Just drag the tab.

    Thank You so much for Your answer.
    Dragging the tab works only if the two documents are different. Unfortunately it does not hold for the same document...
    The only solution to simultaneously view different sections of the same document is to open the second instance of TexnicCenter, and then open the same document in it.
    A bit abstruse anyway!

    Yes, I agree.

    Ok, I will add this as a feature request. However, don't get your hopes up too much. It is not trivial to activate this feature again.
