I find myself very often (too often to be honest ;)
trying to locate the documentation of a given package
that is used in my LaTeX document.

Hence, it would be nice to have a 'Packages' category
in the 'Files' tree of the 'Navigator' window to access
such information directly.

One possible way to do this is to ask latex which
packages are used (even if they are called from other
packages) in the document when compiling:

latex -record-package-usages=list.txt mydoc.tex

Then, TXC could build the new tree from each entry of
'list.txt'. If the user selects a package to display
its documentation, TXC would only have to call:

texdoc package_name

which automatically searches the texmf/doc tree for the
dvi/ps/pdf documentation and launches the suitable
viewer. Even if not found, texdoc then launches the
html browser pointing to the requested package entry in
TeX Catalogue online at CTAN.
