I think, it would be very good idea to integrate a DVI
viewer in TeXnicCenter as a panel at the bottom, so one
can see the line which one is now editing and a few
lines above and below.
There is possibility to do this - look at the text
http://www.ntg.nl/maps/pdf/26_9.pdf or page at
http://www.activetex.org. It is shown there that TeX
file compilation can be done fast enough to compile a
file more than once a second.
And it is not a problem to find a line in a DVI file - YAP
DVI viewer (MikTeXs default DVI viewer.) does it very

This is a nice idea, though I doubt, that the TeX deamon
works on windows. We need something similar.
Furthermore, I wouldn't compile the whole document, but
just the current part where one is editing (Current
environment for example.)
