Now that the debs are available, I've tested with LibO 6.1.0 RC1 and the issue is still present.
Important: the issue seems to be restricted to cases where texmaths is asked to render a latex equation as an svg vector drawing. Everything seems to be fine when rendering equations as png.
I think that the svg import filters and code has changed in LibO 6.1 wrt 6.0. The release notes report "Replaced existing SVGFilter using SVGIO (Armin Le Grand)" and the issue in texmaths may be related to this change.

LibO 6.1 is now out and TexMaths does not error out on svg images on it, thus this bug report can be closed.
However, while this specific issue can be closed, there is still another blocking issue for using working with TexMaths with LibO6.1, in that the Latex math generated in svg mode is incorrectly scaled (much smaller than it should) on LibO6.1. I'm opening a new bug for this latter problem (bug 104)

I confirm the problem with LibO 6.1 beta 2 and with 6.2 alpha 0 (master) on Linux. The same extension works without problems on 6.0.
LibO 6.1 is now at RC1, i.e. at a stage where testers and early adopters may like to move to it.

Looks like the issue is on LibO side. Please keep open as we follow

just in case actions are required on both sides.
Hi guys,
you're faster than me...
Many thanks for having helped to fix this.
Was a pleasure: LibO work without TeXMaths would not be the same!
I found LibO 6.1 RC2 is out on their development builds server, so you'll enjoy it.

So I close the bug now. Thanks!
