Does not work in the new version,of LibreOffice 26.2 on MacOS 26. After upgrading when you clikck the LaTex button nothing happens. This is the first bug report I have ever created but I enjoy your program so much I would hate to lose it.
Hi David,
thanks for the bug report.
It seems that this new major LibreOffice version has introduced a change that breaks TexMaths :-(
The problem appears only in Writer (TexMaths still works in Impress and Draw).
Fortunately, there is a workaround (found in the release notes of this new LO version).
Here it is:
Open Writer, go to Tools / Options, then select LibreOffice / Advanced and click on the "Open Expert Configuration" button
In the search field, type 'SelectPastedAnchoredObject' (without the quotes) and click on the Search button
Select the option line that is now displayed and double click on it. The Value column should now be True and the text font should be bold
Press OK and leave the Options dialog
Now you should be able to create TexMaths equations as usual.
I'll investigate to see how to adapt TexMaths code to the change...

It worked! I am thrilled it is still being maintained. Just to help others in my version of LibreOffice on Mac there is not an options under tools. This is how I got there
LibreOffice->Preferences...

Yes, settings are at a different location on a Mac, sorry. Tools / Options is for Linux and Windows.
The problem is fixed in TexMaths 0.52.5. You can set the SelectPastedAnchoredObject back to false, if you wish.
Please fill free to report problems here if any...
