Version: 7.5.0.3 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 50(Build:3)
CPU threads: 8; OS: Linux 6.1; UI render: default; VCL: gtk3
Locale: en-IE (en_US.UTF-8); UI: en-US

Hello,

I wonder whether the TeXMaths bad equation alignment issue I see has a solution, or a workaround, or at least was reported before.

The alignment when pressing the "Latex" button for either Display of Inline TeX equation inserts is approximately a third to a half of a character's height too low, i.e. just unusable for even typesetting informal documents with very easy stuff, for example: \beta \in \mathbb{R}
In fact even a single letter, e.g. \beta, is wrong.
Any pointers ?

    Thank you for your reactivity, but when will TexMaths 0.5 be made available ?
    I tried downloading it (for Linux) and what I got is still TexMaths 0.49 in oxt format.

      It's released. Go to the Files tab in TexMaths Sourceforge project page.

        Yes, it is, and it's all back to normal now.
        Thank you very much for the short turnaround time.
        Best,
