The latex equation rendering works very well for me to develop math-heavy lecture slides. I can edit the formulas in class if there are typos. I use custom symbols that can also be integrated easily. On another note, I had issues due to a bug in my latex installation and the customer support was very thorough and helpful.

I've been using TexMaths for some years now to render Latex equations for my Physical Chemistry lectures in Impress. I'm the envy of my Windows-bound colleagues. Their quality and ease of editing is superb.

Excellent project, it is easy to use (if you are fasmiliar with LaTeX) and the quality of formulae are excellent. Also, in the Impress documents, you can have the Transparent option and it gives excellent outputs. Thank you!
