The Now...
The prelimnary version allowing session injection to a matlab workspace has been completed. matlab-ruby is really awesome.
It will be released as soon as the kinks are worked out. It's also a bit hack-n-slash to get it to work in cygwin, but I patched it so it glides right on. Of course, if you use Matlab in Linux, you'll have no issues, but I have to go with the status quo at the company.

Now, for the far future...
This will be the final alpha release since it will have met its requirements. Thus, I will probably be spending a lot of time after this working it up to the beta phase (i.e. mainly cleaning and streamlining). That might take a while since I'll be back for the fall semester.
