When in Basic mode, only the Drawing Toolbar is available on the Edit menu...but the Enhancement toolbar is still available on the Image menu. Basic and Advanced modes aren't very different. Easiest and recommended fix for now is to add the Enhancement Toolbar to the Edit menu when in Basic mode.
