Would it be possible to make the torch feel better in the
next release? What I mean by this is -
a) Make it feel less "rigid". atm is follows the players
POV exactly with no deviation, what I would like is if had
a slower turning circle than the player, so when you spin
around it takes 0.5 seconds or slower to "catch up" with
the players POV.
b) Move the position of the light, I mean make as if the
light was on the players left shoulder so it casts
shadows slightly to the right of all objects (looks cool)
which would give a better definition of shadows with it.
c) "movement". I mean have the torch slightly sway from
side to side like the intermission cameras, so the
shadows cast move slightly...
d) torch beam, have a slight beam effect come from the
torch start pos to the destination pos, much like "x-files
torches" if you know what I mean?
I hope you consider these requests, as it will make my
in progress Tenebrae map a lot scarier, as it uses quite
a lot of the torch. Cheers,
