TeLOS is a new, universal Linux distribution, a carefully customized derivative of Debian bullseye / sid with KDE Plasma Desktop Environment featuring an unbiased selection of useful applications and services. You may find TeLOS Linux to be snappy, lightweight, ready for work or fun straight out of the box and easily configurable. This Operating System is freely distributed and honors free, open source software development. Nevertheless, some non-free proprietary packages are included to widely support common modern hardware. Google Chrome browser and TeamViewer contribute to making this unconventional distribution remote work and distance learning friendly. TeLOStore, our AppStore application, makes installing and uninstalling apps in TeLOS an easy, fast and safe game. TeLOS is suitable both for Linux newcomers and for experienced users.

It is a great idea and has a lot of promise. The criticism is that installation to a hard drive is based on some very poorly written directions about manually partitioning said drive and the installation of the Chrome Browser is also a bit vague. So it is a good distribution poorly packaged for users .Reply from TeLOS Linux

Yo te mandaba a varear olivos.Reply from TeLOS Linux

The marriage of KDE and Gnome seems unique :), don't remember having seen this union before, even though lot of kde based distros have some gtk apps and dependencies. The animated background though uses lot of CPU and memory and keeps the fan running throughout the time it was enabled. The moment it was changed to static wallpaper the resource usage went down and the fan went back to normalcy. Hard dependency on some of the vlc libraries. Trying to remove vlc* indicated plasma will be removed as well so had to cherry pick what to remove. Similar thing happened with another app as well. Mem usage was 1.2GB + on live env, have to install and see if it drops down to < 500MB as advertised. Would be interesting to see how well it shapes up in future.Reply from TeLOS Linux
