I am having continual problems with login. Currently am set under "DETECT" server-type and the pop3 server is found ok, but when I enter the appropriate password, it is denied.
+OK POP3 mydomain.com 2004.89mdk server ready
-> USER sjmo2@mydomain.com
OK User name accepted, password please
-> PASS ****
<- -ERR Bad login
Have also tried "ONE-FOR-ALL" with no success.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Are you using your email address as the login name or your server accounts name? For example my email address is contact@blah.com but my login is actually myserverlogin@blah.com and the password for that server. I am running a linux fedora server with sendmail.

If you telnet to the POP3 server (on port pop3) and issue a:
USER sjmo2@mydomain.com
PASS <whatever your password is>
does it succeed? I am guessing that the addition of your domain name with your userID may not be what the POP3 server is expecting.
